Recipe of the Month

Valentine Fudge Bars


4 oz. refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 pack Southern Gourmet Cookies and Cream fudge mix
5 oz. butter
3 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. chopped maraschino cherries
1/4 tsp. red food color
6 oz. white chocolate
1/4 Cup mini chocolate chips

  1. Remove the tray from the Southern Gourmet Cookies and Cream fudge mix box.
  2. Press the thawed cookie dough into the pan to evenly cover the base of the tray.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes or until cookie dough is fully baked. Allow to cool.
  4. Make up the Cookies and Cream fudge mix following instructions on the package adding melted butter, milk, chopped cherries and red food color. Mix well and then spread onto the cookie base.
  5. Melt white chocolate in a double boiler, and spread onto the fudge bar.
  6. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
  7. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes to allow everything to set, and allow for ease of cutting.
