Cherry Limeade Pie Recipe


1 pkg (7.5oz) Southern Gourmet Key Lime Pie Filling Mix

2 egg yolks

2 1/3 cups water

1 Tbsp butter

1½ tsp imitation cherry extract (divided)

1 9-inch prepared graham cracker pie crust

2 cups whipped topping

2-3 drops red food color (optional)


  1. Prepare pie filling according to package directions adding ½ tsp cherry extract while filling cools.
  2. Pour filling into prepared crust and refrigerate until set, about 3 hours.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine whipped topping, 1 tsp cherry extract and 2-3 drops red food color. Fold gently until combined.
  4. Top the cooled pie with the cherry whipped topping.  Refrigerate until served.

Yields 8 servings.
