Chocolate Cookies and Cream Fudge

Bake: 10 minutes + cooling

Ingredients
4 oz refrigerated chocolate cookie dough
5 Tbsp melted butter
3 Tbsp milk
1 carton (12.0 oz) Southern Gourmet® Awesome Cookies & Cream Fudge Premium Mix Kit
4 oz baking chocolate, chopped
¼ cup chopped pecans 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Remove tray from carton.  Coat tray with cooking spray.  Press cookie dough evenly onto the bottom of tray.  Bake for 8-10 minutes or until set.  Cool completely on a wire rack.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and milk with contents of Southern Gourmet® Awesome Cookies and Cream Fudge Mix packet.  Mix at low speed or stir briskly until well combined.  Spread over cooled cookies.
  4. Using a double broiler, melt chocolate; gently spread over fudge.  Sprinkle with pecans.  Cover and place in freezer for 10 minutes.  Cut into squares.
